Sowle Film Studio offers three base packages, where the main differences are; the amount of videographers included, the hours of coverage, and the inclusion of drone footage. We encourage couples to explore the Sun package, as it contains the most bang for your buck. Ultimately though, our packages are entirely customizable as every wedding is different.

At least 8 hours. In order to tell the full story of your wedding day, we like to arrive while you’re getting ready, and leave once the dance floor has opened up and the main events are complete. Often, 10 hours is encouraged as some days take longer to fully unfold, and we even offer Engagement Sessions to add more depth and detail to the story of your wedding film.

Two of our three packages include a 2nd professional videographer. We encourage choosing one of them because you get twice as much footage for a fraction of the cost!

Right now, turn-around times are anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks, where the smaller the package, the shorter the turn-around. Each package includes a social media teaser, though, which you should receive within 4 weeks of your wedding to hold you over while we edit your film to perfection.

Yes! Drone footage is included with the Sun package, and can be added on to the other packages.

We always steer couples toward the Moon or Sun package because they include a 2nd shooter and longer cinematic films, which make for a more complete and immersive experience.

Couples never regret hiring a well-established, professional filmmaker. Photography is the standard, but the moving image can immerse you back into your special day in a way that photos just can’t. The audio aspect and the full presentation of vows and speeches is enough reason alone to bring a filmmaker along to your wedding.

Although they use similar tools, photo and video are completely different skill sets. It’s necessary to have someone specializing in each mode of documentation. Sowle Film Studio has partnered with Erin Hoyt Photography to offer both photo and video at a premium and professional level by two trusted and connected artists who have worked together many times and have a rapport and a working relationship that lends itself to amazing results. Our smallest package starts at $2,750, and our clients spend an average of $3,500.

For an additional $300, you can receive the hundreds of gigabytes worth of footage delivered on a hard drive by hand or via mail.

We source our wedding film music from various music licensing platforms. A questionnaire will be sent out to couples in advance of their wedding day to get an idea of music style and genre preferences. Couples can be as much or as little involved in the music selection process as they'd like.

Yes! Each package includes Ceremony, Speeches, and Special Dances captured in full.

Absolutely! Unless otherwise requested, each wedding film will include audio from the day, such as speeches, vows, first looks, letter readings, and the small moments in between.
